Four Things You Should NOT Be Doing in Your Business To Get Ahead

Do you sometimes feel like you are going round in circles in your business? Does that end goal never seem to get nearer? Here are a few things that perhaps you find you are doing that you should cut out, or at least cut down on in order to get ahead. Had you hoped that by now your Plan A should have worked? If you have insisted on continually trying your first approach, then take time and rethink. You’ll no doubt find it time well spent.
Learning and Not Earning
Of course learning is important and in today’s digital world you need to try and keep on top of the latest and greatest as much as possible but remember learning and studying doesn’t count as real moneygenerating activities. If you spend all your time learning, and no time doing, then you’re not going to survive or generate any real income.
Six Months and No Results
Focus on a specific goal and look at how long it has taken you to get there. If it’s more than six months you are probably not focusing enough time on the things that are important to your business for its growth. Can you see the results of your goal yet?
If you find you are guilty of any of the above then you need to make some changes. Start by writing down all the things you currently do in your business and assess next to each task if it is real work that will grow your business and generate income or otherwise. Then go back over your list and look at those tasks that will be growth and money generating. Work out how many steps to get to those goals. Look at the tasks that are don’t grow your business or generate income and see which ones you can either cut out or at least reduce the time they take. Then start moving forward …
